Buckingham Valley Vineyards
Buckingham Valley was one of the first wineries started under Pennsylvania’s Farm Winery Act of 1968, which allowed wineries to sell wine directly to the public, if it was made from Pennsylvania grown fruit. Today Buckingham Valley is among the largest of Pennsylvania’s one hundred-plus wineries.

The winery started as a pipe-dream in a dorm room at the University of Pennsylvania back in the 50's. Jerry Forest and his good friend Vladimir Guerrero would play guitars, drink wine, and dream of doing one or the other for a living; they decided they’d have a better chance making wine. The two planted five acres in 1966, and resumed their guitar playing and wine drinking as they planned to start a winery.

Since 1970, the vineyards and winery have been owned and operated by the Forest family; Kathy and Jerry Forest, and their sons, Jon, Kevin and Chris.

Gruet Winery
In 1983, the Gruet family was traveling through the Southwestern part of the United States, and while in New Mexico met a group of European winemakers who had successfully planted vineyards in Engle, near the town of Truth or Consequence, 170 miles south of Albuquerque. The land was inexpensive and the opportunity golden. In 1984, Gilbert Gruet, whose Champagne house, Gruet et Fils had produced fine Champagne in Bethon, France, since 1952, made the decision to plant an experimental vineyard, exclusively planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. His children, winemaker Laurent and daughter Nathalie, and family friend Farid Himeur then relocated to the great state of New Mexico to begin their American wine making adventure.

In 2005 Gruet produced 80,000 cases of wine and distributed them to 47 states. We now produce seven different sparkling wines: Brut NV (non-vintage), Blanc de Noirs NV, Rosé NV, Demi Sec NV, vintage Blanc de Blancs, vintage Grand Rosé, and Laurent's latest bubbly creation — an homage to his late, great father, and the Gruet Winery's luxury tête de cuvée — the vintage Gilbert Gruet Grande Reserve. We also produce two excellent Chardonnays and two Pinot Noirs, both with a regular bottling and an unfiltered barrel select reserve bottling.

Keeling Schaefer Vineyard-Arizona
Our vision is a modest estate property, like those near Aix-en-Provence, with the vineyard in the front and winery and house in the back. In Arizona: "a little ranch on the side of the mountain." A quiet place far from the city, where one's life plays out along with the wine season.

In 2000, we located and purchased 18 acres on Rock Creek at the foot of the Chiricahua Mountains. At 5000 feet above sea level, the summer climate of warm, sunny days and cool, high desert nights combines with the sandy loam red soils to grow Rhone varieties that impart the special Cochise County characteristics.
